OUTREACH

I have participated with the organization Skype A Scientist now twice. I created unique and interactive presentation regarding my research and professional experience for a program of 6th-12th graders. In addition, I presented an entertaining yet informative talk on baboons and zoo welfare for high school zoology class. For both sessions, I participated in Q&A sessions while mentoring and giving career advice.

I have also presented for Upward Bound, a pre-collegiate program helping students go to college. I presented to over 150 students about my career path, advice to excel and my "Path to a PhD", which is still ongoing. I answered questions regarding college, graduate school and working in the private sector.
