Animal Welfare Scientist
TEACHING
My teaching experiences include...
During my time at Sonoma State University, I worked as a Teaching Associate (TA). During my two years, I taught a range of lab sections including Biological Diversity and Ecology (BIOL131)and Biological Inquiry (BIOL110). My work included supervising and running lab experiments while lecturing on relevant coursework. I also tested students’ knowledge through worksheets and quizzes.

In addition, I created and taught an original course through Sonoma State's Youth EXCEL program. The week long course was for 4th – 6th graders on zoology. I taught on a range of topics from animal behavior to zoo management while creating fun activities for the children to have a better appreciation for animals.
